Local people feel very strongly that Camberwell needs to change from being a neglected through route in South London and to return to the vibrant town centre that it used to be. In addition to improvements to public transport in the area, the streets need to change significantly and become more welcoming, easier to use and safer for those on foot who live, work and visit SE5.
We have created a short document that outlines how the Town Centre might change (see below).
We are also very keen to have your thoughts and ideas so that we can make sure they are taken into consideration as the plans for Camberwell move forward. Please do send us your thoughts and pictures and we will post them on this page.
